Designed for versatility, the Sked supports both horizontal hoisting by helicopter and vertical hoisting in caves or industrial confined spaces. Once the patient is secured, the stretcher becomes rigid, while its durable plastic construction safeguards the patient and facilitates extraction through the tightest spaces. For convenience, it rolls up for storage in a rugged Cordura backpack, included with the system.

Weighing just 17 lbs, the complete rescue system is ready for most rescue scenarios. It is also available in O.D. Green for military, SWAT, and other tactical operations.
